For a very social family, we designed the basement and ground floor as a public gathering space with its supporting facilities and the upper floors that are designed as sleeping- relaxation areas. This provided the family both private and social space making for practical, comfortable and unifying features. The site of this villa is a corner plot with streets on the 2 sides. While it may have originally presented a challenge, we at Al Murshed architectural design services have arranged the spaces in such a way that it gets the natural light and view from both sides simultaneously. The space allocation is done in accordance with the priority. The service spaces like kitchen and store are taken towards the back side whereas the living area in the front side to get the natural light and view of the exterior. The aesthetics were created with the expertise of our residential architects.
